Voolcan Grupo awarded the Medal of Gratitude by the City of València

On May 28, 2025, Voolcan Grupo was honored with the Medal of Gratitude, a recognition granted by the City Council of València to individuals, organizations, and companies that provided support during the emergency caused by the Campanar fire on February 22, 2024.

The ceremony took place at the Palau de la Música in València, in an event filled with emotion and remembrance. The mayor of València, María José Catalá, presided over the ceremony, which began with a minute of silence in memory of the ten people who lost their lives.

"Today, València offers the most sincere thing it can give: its memory, its affection, and its admiration. You were the essential part of that response: 67 giants of solidarity who came to the aid of more than 100 families and lifted an entire city when it was breaking,” said the mayor.

A RECOGNITION WE SHARE.

Representing Voolcan Grupo, our CEO Emilio Revert accepted the medal, accompanied by his family. For us, this recognition is more than a symbol—it is a testament to collective commitment and the deep sense of responsibility we feel toward our community.

In those difficult days, thousands of individuals and organizations came together to support those affected by the tragedy. Being part of that network of solidarity and service strengthens our conviction that true strength lies in unity.
